After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Calgary, Yien quickly gained experience and expertise in oil and gas, facilities, and pipeline project development. As a Project Engineer with Stance, he acquired a diverse portfolio of profile clients, including Husky, Chevron, and Cenovus Energy. He also managed over 50 projects for Pengrowth Energy, dedicated to the evaluation of new and redesign of existing structures for continued operations.

After an eight-year tenure with Stantec, Yien shifted his career towards customer service and hospitality management as an Operations Manager with Cactus Club Cafe. There, he elevated his role through the creation of culture, leadership, and professional development of his peers.

With a well-rounded background in project engineering and client relations, Yien has the unique ability to connect with people at all levels of construction and real estate development, driving success through communication and dedication to service excellence.
