Her expertise encompasses project and team planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This experience played a pivotal role in the creation of her own retail business, co-founding an injectables clinic, Life Story Beauty, on West 4th Avenue in Vancouver.
Sara has two decades of project management experience across diverse sectors, specializing in construction, commercial projects, and retail growth consultancy. With a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from conception to completion, Sara brings a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience to the table.
Managed construction during retail expansion across Canada and the U.S., including:
Managed projects in Western and Central Canada, working closely with franchisees and consultants to execute renovations (15-20 renovations per year) and new builds (3-5 new stores per year).
Construction Project Manager responsible for managing budgets and construction for new stores and renovations across Canada. Worked closely with the design team from conceptual design through to opening. Performed cost analysis and tracking of projects for the development department.
Lead project manager responsible for store openings and construction schedules. Negotiated with city officials and general contractors to expedite store openings. Conducted site surveys and arranged for landlord approvals.
